This is the setting...the stage and the runway form a T. There is one camera (#1) a bit left of the end of the runway. There is another (#2) against the wall further to the left. Both cameras are roughly the same distance from the stage. There is a moveable spot next to the #2 camera. There is another moveable spot against the wall on the other side of the space. We argued to eliminate the spots. We felt they add little to the stage presentation and they screw up the video.

I am fairly unsophisticated when it comes to this stuff...I notice that the IRE numbers are above 100 sometimes and yet the colors do not seem blown out. The contestants walk before a huge screen and, of course, at that point they are blown out...the director did that for effect for the live presentation.

#2 camera did not seem to want to white balance to match the other camera. It seem washed out. My repair shop guy says it is within normal limits.

Notice at about 00;00;26;00 the director switches from camera 1 to camera 2. Notice the colors are much richer. Could this have anything to do with angle of lights vis-a-vis the cameras. Anyway if you have any ideas call or email. Cell is 206 399 2010
